- Creative drainage capturing water and directing its flow.
- This is the first phase with construction of a swale that will redirect the water drainage and take it off the property. Notice the foot bridge that leads to you to the beginning of a woodland path.
- Completed planting of the swale area created for drainage. Becomes a beautiful border full of color and texture.
- Shows existing backyard and how it relates to the structure.
- Existing backyard including the lower steps that were redone to incorporate new landscape plans.
- Heavy machinery used to place boulders for the water feature.
- Cleaned and reused homeowners clay pavers and enlarged the patio by integrating flagstone into the border.
- Flagstone border and newly planted tamaracks.
- Area was accented with native evergreens and grasses.
- Finished flagstone pathway leading to the patio form the lower step area.
- Flagstone pathway that leads to the large dining patio.
- Completed water feature which included several different water feeds, several divisions in the stream with multiple falls.
